ARTIST STATEMENT

The source of inspiration for my work is derived from how people interact with nostalgia and worldly mythologies found throughout the experience of human history. My sculptures consist of intertwining Human, Animal, Insect, and Mechanical formal elements. I combine modern materials with differing inherent values and meanings to create new figurative associations. The combination of striking visuals and inviting conceptual entrances encourage viewers to be confronted and then create their own personal narratives based on their experience.
